Al-Tawheed Islamic Center is based in Jersey City, NJ, which is one of the most diverse cities in the USA and was established in January of 1995. Our Center accommodates 900 people during Friday prayers and has parking conveniently located across the street. The Center is considered one of the largest Islamic Centers in the state of New Jersey and the NYC metropolitan area. The Center has members from many different cultures and ethnicities, and everyone is welcome to join us. It is regularly visited by scholars from all over the world and focuses its efforts on providing its congregation with authentic Islamic knowledge.

  • Al Tawheed Islamic Center offers weekend school for children, teaching them how to recite Quran with proper Tajweed. The school also offers Quran and Dua memorization, Arabic Handwriting and Islamic studies. It is a great Opportunity for our children during weekend to learn how to recite Quran properly.

    The funeral is the last right of the deceased person in the community. As such it is of the utmost importance that the Sunnah and guidance of our beloved Prophet Muhammad Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam, be followed in all of the steps of the funeral.

  • In the blessed month of Ramadan, all the Halaqas will stop and we will have the following activities instead:

    1. Breaking the Fast: Every night to break the fast: milk, dates, and fruits will be provided inshaAllah.

    2. Taraweeh prayer: Taraweeh prayer is held every night in congregation in the Mosque after Isha.

    3. Lecture: There will be a lecture every night after the first 4 raka’as of the taraweeh prayer, conducted by -TBA
